Colorado Unit 66 Elk: Harvest Success & Public Access

Compare published elk results for hunt codes bearing Unit 66 as their designator, with older GMU history kept separate.

Public hunting access

Conservative public acres: 449,416
Public share of GMU: 78.1%

Whole-unit planning estimates, excluding special access and walk-in access. They are not species-specific or a calculation of land usable under a particular license. A private-only license does not allow hunting public land. Verify access with the land manager. Access methodology and limitations.

2025 harvest results by hunt code

The unit designator is not proof that all harvest occurred here or that every part of this GMU is valid for a license. Codes may include other units or restricted areas. We retain individual results instead of inventing a single unit-wide rate from overlapping licenses.

Older reports often combine hunt codes, sexes or seasons. These rows retain their published scope and are not exact-code success rates. Missing values appear as a dash.
